Lavender Charcoal Lemonade

Well, it’s not summer anymore, but I can still enjoy some lemonade.

Now you may be questioning the charcoal, but let me tell you first that it’s good for you. At least it’s good for drawing out toxins that is.

I don’t know about you, but certain foods give me headaches ( like purple onions). This drink can help be rid of your headache because the charcoal in it will pull out any toxins from the food or whatever is giving your head a hard time. And the lavender really just adds to the taste of it.

It may look scary, however it tastes fantastic! It has a light floral taste and you can’t even taste the charcoal. (It doesn’t really have a taste).

This would be great for a Halloween party drink or just for your own personal consumption.

  • Pitcher of water ( about 6-8 cups)
  • 2 lemons (juiced) or 1/4 cup of lemon juice concentrate
  • 4 Tbsp of gourmet lavender syrup
  • 1 Tbsp of activated charcoal

You can add the ingredients in any order or all at once, but I found it fun to watch the color change in the pitcher. So I added them each separately and goggled at each different layer of color.

So when life gives you lemons…….

Make lavender charcoal lemonade!!

Sending love

~xoxo Juliana Marie
